Kickstarter Wednesday(1/6/16)

Hey everyone, hope you all had a great New Year! With news slowing down on Mighty No. 9, Yooka Laylee, Bloodborne, and Gunvolt. I've decided to start a weekly blog post on different games featured on Kickstarter. There are many fantastic games on Kickstarter that are overshadowed, and today I'll introduce some of these games to you. I've selected some games that I think fans of Mighty No. News would enjoy. If you would like to contact me about your Kickstarter game, please feel free send me an email at: mightynonews@gmail.com

I am hoping to do posts like this every Wenesday, let's see if I actually keep up with that...

Open World RPG "like" Star Wars Game

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.... a man named Devin Tripp got the idea to make the first ever Star War's open world game. Though he lacks permission to use this IP, he has contacted Lucas Films, and is still awaiting a reply. With Kickstarter he is hoping to achieve everyone's childhood dream, we all wanted to be like Luke Skywalker. With this game he plans on making this dream a reality and copying the feel of the Star Wars' universe by letting us run free in the vast world of Star Wars. There are currently no images of the game.

Will this game be removed by Lucas Films? Will it be a success? What does the game even look like? Will it live up to Devin's image? There are many questions that surround this project. As Yoda once said " Do. Or do not. There is no try."

Moving on to our next game...

TOKYO WARFARE

Tokyo Warfare is an arcade like shooter. You pretty much rampage through Tokyo and battle using tanks. The game features a campaign mode(Single Player), Online and offline team deathmatch. Campaign mode features different types of missions, sometime you will be defending something other times you will be taking down ground air and naval units.

Some neat features of the game include:

-Manga filters(as shown below)

-Various modes

-VR support

The game sounds very fun and promising, with 17 days to go and a funding goal of $19,000, I think we can help bring this game to Steam/mobile.

Moving on...

Libra of the Vampire Princess: Visual Novel English Release

Now, I'm not too into visual novels... but I know a lot of people that follow me do enjoy visual novels. Libra of the Vampire Princess was a game previously released only in Japan as, Kyuuketsu Hime no Libra. The game is being localized by MiKandi Japan. You play as Shuma, a young man who learns a dark secret about his past...

Funding for the game seems to be going well, they are at $90,000 with a funding goal of $125,000. Even if you aren't interested in this game, it would still be great if you would support it, games being localized from Japan are always welcome.

That's all for today, if you liked Kickstarter Wednesday please let me know by writing to me on Twitter!
